SAIA + IWCA = Safer work place Window cleaning safety

Stefan Bright authored an article on suspended scaffold safety for the new issue of SA – the magazine of the Scaffold and Access Industry Association
Sort of an overview on the topic with a few tips and advice to thoroughly train, document and have all OSHA regs on hand.
The article doesn’t actually mention the IWCA or the I-14 window cleaning safety standard, but the postscript mentions Stefan is IWCA Safety Director.
This may be a sign the SAIA is going to be more involved in window cleaning.
Both associations, IWCA and SAIA, are managed by the same company – Robstan Group, and late last year the SAIA announced it had formed an alliance with the IWCA.
The SAIA website makes note of an alliance with the IWCA
- but the IWCA hasn’t made any announcement. My guess is the IWCA is saving that news for the convention.
