Window cleaning top 3 business waivers to protect your business

So as a business owner your introduced to the idea that you can be sued. You

man taking out a the trash

Its your responsibility

can protect yourself and your business. With theses protections you also help your clients understand the relationship. Its like a marriage some one has to take out the trash this just puts it in writing.

Limiting your risk and communicating to the customer is paramount in our litigious society. Being aware about what your responsibly is and what the property owner is responsible for is not an option to assume , Get it in writing!!

WORKMAN’S COMP WAIVER

Most window cleaning companies are operated by just 1 or 2 partners everyone

Wearing all the hatts

I do everything cause there is no one else

having a 50/50 share in the business. Your requirement to have workman’s comp is not required in most states if your the owner of the business. If your the only one that works for your company- if you wear all the hats  A simple letter on company letter head is enough to cover your liability.Workman’s comp requirements differ stat to state.Check with your states workman’s comp requirements and always speak to your attorney for clear understanding of the laws and regulations .

We have the only flawless fabricating debris resurfacing system. It’s best to do
this BEFORE the glass is scraped but even completely scratched glass can be restored
to new. No distortion, No swirls, No haze, even with direct sun or overhead
lighting. We are the only company that not only claims this but proves it over and
over. All others leave noticeable haze and swirls from the inability to completely
    re-polish the glass.

Another waiver I use is a Pre-existing condition waiver. You never know what can happen when you are working on 100 year old storm windows etc.

Its basically 2 paragraphs absolving myself and my company from things such as ripped screens, paint chipping on sills, fabricating debris, blown argon seals, missing mouldings, rotted wood, etc.

    Its better safe than sorry.

Excellent post, by the way :)
